Steiner Lifeways School for Dublin

There are currently three Community National schools in Ireland under the patronage of Education and Training Boards delivering the Primary School Curriculum on the basis of Steiner pedagogy: Mol an Oige Community National School and Raheen Wood Community National School in Clare and Cuan na Gaillimhe CNS in Galway city.

The decision to transfer patronage of the schools was made in 2019 by Lifeways in response to the growing burden of administration on voluntary Board of Management arising from the governance of the schools and from practical matters related to infrastructure, HR and general maintenance of buildings.

The new arrangement will enable Boards of Management to focus on the core values of Community National Schools and to develop an 'integrating pedagogy' for our rapidly changing times.
